Board of Directors

The WPPSEF Board provides oversight to the Fund and approves all funding requests. The members of the WPPSEF Board were nominated by the parties of the West Penn Power Company restructuring proceeding and approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

Board members are:

  • Gwen Auman, Auman Weis Enterprises - Vice President
  • James M. Stark, Fayette County Community Action Agency - Secretary
  • Patrick O'Brien, First National Bank of Monessen - Treasurer
  • Robert J. Hosken, Building Performance Architecture
  • Michele Ponchione, World Kitchen

Fund Administrator

The administration of the WPPSEF is being performed by the partnership of The Energy Institute in Penn State’s College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and Energetics, Incorporated. The Economic Growth Connection of Westmoreland is providing the required financial services to provide funding to Board approved projects.

The fund administrators are:
