Lutheran Home at Kane Receives Grant from WPPSEF to Support Sustainable Energy Technologies and Energy Efficiency

The Lutheran Home at Kane, a non-profit Continuum of Care Retirement Community in rural McKean County, has received a $100,000 grant from WPPSEF to co-fund the design and installation of a cloud-based centralized HVAC control system.  This centralized system will reduce electric use and improve the building comfort for its residents and staff.  In addition, the monies from the grant will be utilized to retain Envinity to provide technical clean energy guidance for the planned 10,700 square foot building expansion project scheduled to begin late this fall.
