Meetinghouse Receives Energy Audit Grant from WPPSEF

The Meetinghouse on Atherton in State College, PA, a nonprofit organization that manages and maintains the historic (original 1920s Quaker meetinghouse) in the Holmes-Foster neighborhood, has received a $1,000 grant from WPPSEF to perform an energy audit.

The comprehensive, diagnostic energy audit, conducted by Envinity Commercial Energy Services of State College, assessed the building’s energy consumption and identified ways to increase efficiency, decrease cost and reduce the building’s carbon footprint. Addressing issues in this audit will enable us to more effectively plan our renewable energy projects and conservation initiatives.
