Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation Receives $305K in Grant and Loan Funding From WPPSEF

The Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation (WCIDC) Board of Directors, Gina Cerilli, Ted Kopas, and Charles W. Anderson, announced today the West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund (WPPSEF) has committed a $285,000 loan and a $20,000 grant to the WCIDC to support building renovations at The Corner, an entrepreneurial center located in downtown New Kensington.

“The project funding from the WPPSEF allows us to make energy-efficient improvements that will create a better environment for the students, community members and visitors using the facility,” said Jason Rigone, WCIDC executive director. “We also want to recognize the WPPSEF’s continual investment in helping to facilitate economic development in downtown areas.”
